What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on a device by a website. We also use local storage and similar technologies to remember choices or operate browser features.

First-party cookies are set by Wagona. A third-party service may set its own cookies when that service is enabled.

The exact technical name of the application-session or analytics cookie can vary by environment. Our current inventory is:

Strictly necessary cookies

These technologies are required for security, privacy choices, forms, account sessions and core service operation. They do not require consent and cannot be switched off in our cookie settings, although a browser may block them and cause the site or portal to stop working correctly.

Functional cookies

Functional technologies support optional preferences and features, such as accessibility choices and requested push notifications. They are disabled unless selected or needed to fulfil a feature you request.

Analytics cookies

If Google Analytics 4 is configured, analytics cookies are loaded only after you consent. They help us understand use of the public website and improve its performance.

Public-site analytics is not used to collect sensitive learner assessment activity. Educational records used to operate the learning service are governed separately by our Privacy Policy and are not advertising cookies.

Advertising cookies

Wagona does not currently use advertising cookies or use learner activity for behavioural advertising. If this changes, this policy and the consent choices will be updated before those cookies are enabled.

Managing or withdrawing consent

Use Manage cookie settings to accept or reject each optional category. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you from reading the public website or signing in.

You can change your choice later through the cookie-settings link and can delete existing cookies or local storage in your browser. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
