We use personal information carefully, transparently and for operating and improving the learning service.
We process account details, organisation memberships, parent-child links, curriculum access, assessments, results, support requests and the operational records needed to provide Wagona.
Where enabled under an approved basis, educational events may record when an assessment or question is viewed, answered or revisited and when a learning tool is used. We do not record raw keystrokes, unnecessary precise location, webcam or microphone recordings.
We use information to provide secure accounts, deliver assessments, show progress, support users, protect the platform and improve an individual learner’s experience.
Learning data is not used for behavioural advertising, commercial model training or protected-characteristic inference. Optional analytics on the public website is separate from learner analytics and requires consent.
Children’s best interests, privacy by default and data minimisation guide the service. Access is determined by role and relationship: teachers are limited to assigned classes and parents to explicitly linked children.
A school may act as controller for some school-managed information. Wagona and Big Quests Limited may have different legal responsibilities depending on the service and relationship. These responsibilities will be documented in the applicable agreement.
Access is restricted to authorised people and service providers. Information is not sold. Where a provider processes information for Wagona, it must do so under appropriate contractual and security controls.
Operational, audit, security and learning records are separated and retained according to their purpose. Deletion or anonymisation processes are applied when information is no longer required, subject to legal, safeguarding and record-preservation duties.
Depending on the applicable law and relationship, you may ask for access, correction, export, restriction, objection or deletion. A parent, school or authorised learner can contact us to begin a request.
Essential cookies are required for security and sessions. Optional public-site analytics can be accepted or declined through the cookie control.
